The Gentle Giant Foundation’s mission is to protect giraffes from a silent extinction, by generating funds for the Giraffe Conservation Foundation.  Right now, giraffes are extinct in many African countries including Nigeria and Guinea. Giraffes are killed and poached for their tails, which are seen as a symbol of upper class or even royalty in many indigenous tribes They are also going extinct due to habit destruction, disease, and poachers. The non-profit we give to is the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, a world-renowned nonprofit that helps giraffes all over Africa.
